Congratulations, Mr. Bojorques, on your appointment as Lodi American Legion Commander and the endeavor to strive to encourage the new age veterans to join in the ranks with the older vets becoming fewer by the day. Hopefully with your leadership abilities and younger age, the ranks will enlist many new members from the Viet Nam conflict and those following. I firmly believe with new, younger, forward thinking leaders and members such as yourself, the ranks of membership should swell at a rapid pace. Good luck on your venture, as well as your other endeavors, and I hope to hear more good news in the near future.

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
