The Stockton Police Officers Association announced their endorsement Tuesday of James Mousalimas, current Deputy Superintendent of the San Joaquin County Office of Education, in his campaign to become the county’s next Superintendent of Schools.

“Everyone knows that a safe and violence free school environment contributes greatly to allowing our future generations to break the cycle of poverty and violence that plagued too many of our Stockton neighborhoods,” said Association President Kathryn Nance. “I know we can count on James Mousalimas to work with us to ensure the safety of our schools and the children who fill their classrooms.”
