A man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg on Monday evening on the Eastside, according to Cpl. Rick Garcia of the Lodi Police Department.
The police department received a call about possible shots fired on East Walnut Street and Central Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. Monday, Garcia said. When officers responded to the scene, they found a 24-year-old Lodi man with a wounded leg, he said.
The man was transported to an area hospital for treatment. His injury is not life-threatening, Garcia said.
Officers have no information about a suspect at this time, but the investigation is ongoing, Garcia said.
