One man has been sent to the hospital after police said they believe he ran a red light, colliding his truck with another vehicle.

At approximately 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, Lodi police and firefighters responded to the intersection of Lodi and South Mills Avenue, where a man driving a burgundy two-door Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck collided with a tree.

I know what you mean. There are a couple of school zones (25 MPH zones) through that area and people drive 50 plus MPH through there... crazy! The police should patrol that area before and after school. Many tickets would be handed out for sure.... and rightfully so. People need to slow down and pay attention!

I was right behind the other truck that was turning left from south mills and the driver of the red pick up didn't even try to stop..(like he might have been texting etc...) he never used brakes till he hit the other truck...the light for us was green a good 5-6 seconds before the red truck even hit crosswalk.
