The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:

Monday

Galt Youth Committee

When and where: 6 p.m., Galt City Hall, city council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Tuesday

Lodi City Council Shirtsleeve Session

Key Item: Review Community Development Block Grant funding requests.

When and where: 7 a.m. Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Unified School District

Key items:

  • Future trends for Tokay Colony and Live Oak Elementary Schools.
  • Social media use guidelines for student athletes.

When and where: 7 p.m. James Areida Education Support Center, 1305 W. Vine St., Lodi.

Galt City Council

When and where: 7 p.m., Galt City Hall, city council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Wednesday

Mokelumne Rural Fire District Board of Directors

Key items:

  • Fire chief’s report.
  • MOU negotiations.

When and where: 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 6 at Mokelumne Rural Fire District 13157 E. Brandt Road, Lockeford.

Lodi City Council

Key items:

  • Public hearing to consider a resolution vacating the 200 block of West Walnut Street to install a plaza for St. Anne’s Catholic Church.
  • Public hearing to consider an appeal by California Citizens for Equal Applications of the Law regarding an exemption used to approve the building of a new fitness center on Lockeford Street.

Lodi Town-Hall Meeting

Key items:

  • Introduction to city government.
  • Overview of city utilities.
