Tokay High School is one of 16 regional schools that will compete today in an annual contest on ocean science. The Sea Lion Bowl is held at San Francisco State University.

The teams are tested through quick-draw buzzer questions and thought-provoking team challenges. The winner will go on to compete against 24 other regional champions in the 15th Annual National Ocean Sciences Bowl in Baltimore in April.

The competition is sponsored by the Consortium for Ocean Leadership in Washington D.C., a group that strives to inspire the next generation of marine scientists, teachers and stewards of the ocean. For more information, visit www.nosb.org.
