Family members of a Lodi man who was gunned down three years ago will have to wait another four months to see the convicted gunman sentenced.

Ajmer Singh Hothi, 23, was shot to death inside a big rig truck on March 27, 2007. The father of his former girlfriend was ultimately convicted, but now he is seeking a new trial and has hired a new attorney, who said Monday that he needs time to learn about the case.

To Wowerzz: You have to go back hundreds of years if ever to find Christian or Jew "Honor Killings". You only have to go back a week or two to find an Islamic murder. Sikh, I dont have the time to research. You do it. Your comments are not correct. PS I know nice people too, shallow comment from you.

the Honor killing is something stupid Layla added....I know a few Sikh families and they are law abiding people.....and as the religion goes...it doesn't take a Sikh, muslim, jew...or christian for that matter to be a J@ck@ss to murder someone!
