Lodi police arrested two more suspects they believe were involved in an armed robbery at Lodi Lake on April 13.

Cresencio Reyes and Jovany Lucio, both 19, were booked into San Joaquin County Jail on Monday after police spent several days searching.

Officers say they have now arrested five individuals — all suspected to be members of the Norteños gang — whom they believe were connected to the robbery.

Shortly after the robbery, officers captured three suspects in a vehicle at gunpoint on Laurel Avenue, just east of Lodi Lake. Jose Galvan, 19, Jose Gonzalez, 20, and Rodolfo Orejel, 20, all from Woodbridge, were arrested on suspicion of robbery, conspiracy, possession of a stolen firearm and gang enhancement.

A stolen gun was found in a front yard on Laurel Avenue shortly after the arrest, according to police.

Reyes and Lucio are being held on suspicion of conspiracy, street terrorism and robbery.

The robbery occurred when several suspected members of the Woodbridge Norteño gang approached a man who was drinking with a group of friends at 1:30 a.m. on the north end of Lodi Lake, police said.

One of the suspects pulled a gun on the victim and took several items, according to a police report.

Were the man and his friends who were drinking cited for being at Lodi Lake after dusk? And were all of them of drinking age? Or were they well connected and escorted home by LPD?
