Galt High School Board members this week continued to spar over how much the school district should be involved with the Galt District Chamber of Commerce.

During a meeting on Tuesday, Trustee Sue Roberts read aloud a letter by former board member Pat Maple to Superintendent Tom Gemma. That letter detailed Maple's misgivings about contributions made by the chamber's political action committee in support of certain board members.

Pat, perhaps it's time to charge in court whoever violated 84506. Would you be willing to lead it?

The Galt Chamber (BUGG) continues to be a carcinogenic pathogen in Galt politics. Sue Roberts is to be applauded for raising this issue. The Chamber acts more like a political party than an interest group and has used independent expenditures to circumvent FPPC reporting requirements in an effort to hide its truly political and questionable agenda. SOME board members are playing a serious game of semantics here and should fess up. It's an integrity issue--BUGG CONTRIBUTED TO YOUR CAMPAIGNS! Are they also controlling your votes? This is the most important question. What's with "anonymous" donations of money anyway?

Maybe you could have our Lodi Chamber mamoo give you some advice. On Sunday he's a preacher and the rest of the week a sinner.

Keep up with the facts, Pat. Thesame corrupt practices that the GaltCC uses are one and the same as Lodi's. These corrupt CC people will one day soon wallow in their own stys.

Government Code #84506 lists the specific requirements for independent contributions and the reporting of. The CC, BUGG and SUFG all failed to meet the law. The CC hides behind BUGG because a lot of their members do not like BUGG tactics. As far as knowing about the endorsements of candidates, the interviewers, CC, BUGG and SUFG were one-in-the-same. In fact Terry Parker was the CC Pres at the time and Ann Ullrich was and is her employee. There are only 4 liars on the GHS Board and one is not named Sue Roberts.

Am I reading the Lodi News-Sentinel or the Galt Herald? With all these problems and corruption within our own town of Lodi among our city leaders and the good old boys, why is it you choose to harp on Galt? Is it you're afraid of to embarass one of your political friends or neighbors? I'm sure Galt can handle their problems without some cub reporter from Lodi writing to make them look like the bad guys and Lodi always get the fluff articles.
