The living dead will rise to stalk the streets of Downtown Lodi tonight. The first zombie walk in Lodi history will be held tonight at 6 p.m. The walk will begin at Umbrella Alley, located in an alley between Lockeford and Locust Streets. The undead who arrive early at 5 p.m. will have the chance to dance to Michael Jackson's "Thriller," led by local dance instructor Patricia Moore.

Some local businesses will be offering special promotions for zombies, such as Stooges Downtown, which will have drink specials, and Pizza World on North Cherokee Lane, which will have a special dinner for zombies. No word on if brains will be served.
