The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:


Galt Youth Commission

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.


Lodi City Council shirtsleeve

Key item: Receive a presentation on fiscal year 2012-13 budget.

When and where: 7 a.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Improvement Committee

Key items:

  • Receive a report on a property maintenance ordinance.
  • Discuss issues from previous meetings and receive reports from Community Development, Police Department and Public Works.

When and where: 6 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors

Key items:

  • Presentation of Delta activities.
  • Acceptance of grant deed to purchase land on Lower Sacramento road between Pixley Slough and Harney Lane curve.

When and where: 9 a.m., board chambers, 44 N. San Joaquin St., sixth floor, Stockton.


Lodi Arts Commission

Key items:

  • Discuss the idea of lunch time concerts, create a grant review committee and choose strategic planning date.
  • Discuss the Art Advisory Board, the Art Hop, the Arts Calendar and website.

When and where: 1 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St.

Lodi Planning Commission

Key item: Receive a request for a use permit and an alcohol license at 2418 W. Kettleman Lane for Beverages and More, Inc.

When and where: 7 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Site Plan and Architectural Review Committee

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

San Joaquin County wine ordinance group

Key item: Public meeting of residents opposing possible changes to the San Joaquin County wine ordinance.

When and where: 9 a.m., Holiday Inn Express Hotel, 1337 E. Kettleman Lane.

Galt Park and Recreation Commission

When and where: 7 p.m., City Hall City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Woodbridge Sanitary District board

Key items:

  • Consider approving the 2012-13 district budget.
  • Pipeline inspection video and report.
  • Progress report on Orange Street sewer line repairs.
  • District’s design standards.
  • Finalize the operation and maintenance manual.
  • Consider reimbursing a customer for sewer line cleaning.
  • Give direction on the sale of district personal property.
  • Consider providing health coverage and other benefits for district employees.

When and where: 7 p.m., fire station, 400 E. Augusta St., Woodbridge.


Galt Planning Commission

Key items:

  • Proposed changes to the architectural review requirements for single-family residences.
  • Review capital improvement projects from 2012-2017 to insure they are consistent with the city's general plan.

When and where 6:30 p.m., City Hall City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.
