Rainy weather will take a bit of a break in the Lodi area until the middle of next week, giving way to warmer temperatures and plenty of sun.
Temperatures will range in the mid-60s during the week, with nights dropping into the midto low 40s on today and Thursday before sinking into the mid-30s for the weekend, according to Accuweather.com, a private forecasting service.
But drivers beware.
The National Weather Service released a dense fog advisory for those traveling in and around San Joaquin and Sacramento counties.
According to the statement, dense fog could impede drivers' ability to see, and could create road hazards which could lead to accidents.
Fog could give way to another chance of rain and cooler temperatures next Wednesday, though the possibility of longer periods of rain will not hit until the second week of February.
