When they meet tonight for the first time in a month, Galt City Council members are scheduled to adopt a resolution consenting to the expenditure of tax increment funds for public improvements and public facilities related to fire protection and emergency medical services by the Cosumnes Community Services District.

The Oct. 1 meeting was canceled due to a lack of items.

The CCSD serves Galt residents. Further details were unavailable Monday.

The council is also expected to allow the temporary fee reduction incentive program for single-family residential homes to expire Nov. 4. If approved, homebuilders will have to submit complete building permit applications and pay appropriate plan check fees on or before that date to be eligible for a fee reduction under the current program.

In other action, council members are scheduled to:

  • Discuss in closed session City Manager Jason Behrmann’s annual performance review.
  • Hear a report on the city’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, solicit public comment and provide any comments for consideration by the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Committee prior to adoption.

The city council meets at 7 p.m. today in the city council chambers at City Hall, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.
