The San Joaquin County Planning Commission will consider issuing a use permit to Jaswinder Singh to expand his truck stop in Acampo on Thursday.

Singh plans to demolish a 1,307-square-foot fuel and convenience market and construct a new one that is 5,800 square feet on the western Highway 99 frontage road, 600 feet north of Woodson Road.

Plans call for an 872-square-foot restaurant, two fuel island stations and overnight parking for 25 trucks.

In other action Thursday, commissioners will consider approving a tentative map to develop 146 acres within the Mountain House community west of Tracy. Development would include a community park, library, police station and transit station.

Thursday's meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Public Health auditorium, 1601 E. Hazelton Ave., Stockton.
