Board adopts agreement with San Joaquin County over Jack Tone Road property

A senior center, picnic area and a turfed area for sports may become a reality in late 2011, if Lockeford Community Services District plans run smoothly.

The district board, meeting Thursday morning, approved an agreement with San Joaquin County regarding several conditions the Lockeford district must meet in exchange for four acres fronting Jack Tone Road that the county plans to deed to the community.
