The New Year's weekend produced a flurry of calls to the Lodi Police Department, while Galt police reported a very quiet holiday weekend.
Lodi Police Sgt. Mike Oden said there were 130 calls for service between 4 p.m. on New Year's Eve and 4 a.m. on Sunday. There were also 12 auto burglaries reported throughout Lodi on Sunday, an unusually high number, Oden said. Usually, Lodi has one or two a day.
