At Joe Serna Jr. Charter School, everyone is eating a lot of yogurt. The school is participating in the Dannon Danimals Rally for Recess nationwide contest, earning points for collecting codes found inside Danimals yogurt boxes. The grand prize is $20,000 to upgrade their playing field behind the school.

In the online rankings, Joe Serna ranks sixth in the nation in the Wildcat League with 1,561 points, as of Monday. But the current league leader is Cashell Elementary School in Rockville, Md., with 4,003 points. To try to make it to the top, PTA President Celina Senecal asks anyone with Danimals boxes to drop them off at the school at 1305 E. Vine St.
