The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:

Today

North San Joaquin Water Conservation District

Key items:

  • Progress of the Tracy Lake Project.
  • Review of the district’s State Water Resources Control Board water rights permit.
  • Well testing.

When and where: 6 p.m., Lodi Public Library community room, 201 W. Locust St.

Lodi Animal Advisory Commission special meeting

Key item:

  • Work on annual commission report to the City Council.

When and where: Lodi Police Department community room, 215 W. Elm St., Lodi.

Tuesday

Lodi City Council shirtsleeve session

Meeting is canceled.

Galt Unmet Transit Needs

Key item:

  • Public may comment on transit needs in Galt area.

When and where: 2 p.m., Galt City Hall, 380 Civic Drive.

San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors

Key items:

  • Approve mitigated negative declaration for improvements to the San Joaquin County History Museum at Micke Grove Park. Improvements will include a new interpretive panel at the museum entrance, interacvtive map, update the native prehistory inside the Erickson building and more interpretive messages along the Sunshine Trail. Cost to the county is up to $2,100, though projects costs will come from Proposition 84 grant funding.
  • Accept two grant deeds and approve two agreements to purchase land to widen Lower Sacramento Road between Pixley Slough and the Harney Lane curve.
  • Allocate a sheriff’s captain position.

When and where: 9 a.m., board chambers, 44 N. San Joaquin St., sixth floor, Stockton.

San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors

Key item:

  • Appeal of county Planning Commission’s approval of Kapiniaris Vineyards on Davis Road near Turner Road. Appeal filed by David Lucas, Fred Donald and Craig Miller.

When and where: 1:30 p.m., board chambers, 44 N. San Joaquin St., sixth floor, Stockton.
