St. Anne’s Catholic Church is presenting a free program on “Facing Serious Illness and Death: A Catholic View.”

Parishioners Tom Driscoll and Valerie Cronin will be discussing health care decision-making from both its moral and practical perspectives, including basic principles that can help in making difficult medical treatment decisions, how to effectively navigate recent changes in the delivery of hospital services, and what we can do to better prepare ourselves and our loved ones for the inevitable challenges ahead.

The program will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in St. Anne’s Hall at the corner of Walnut and Church streets on Saturday.

Tom Driscoll has been a local attorney for more than 30 years and is certified by the National Catholic Bioethics Center in Health Care Ethics. Valerie Cronin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Lodi Memorial Hospital’s Director of Utilization Review.

Seating is limited to 100, so reservations are necessary. To make a reservation or for more information, contact Kim Driscoll at the Driscoll Law Firm (209-334-1935 or driscoll@inreach.com).
