Candidate information for small local districts

There will be several elections on the Nov. 4 ballot for small school, fire and water districts.

Many local districts have uncontested elections, with only the incumbents running. Those districts won't be listed on your ballot.

Here is a list of the contested elections in the Lodi-Galt area:

Clements Rural Fire Protection District (three seats): William Henderson, Russ Cobb, Ray Engel, Julie Bovett.

Woodbridge Sanitary District (two seats): Harold Rohrbach, Charles Stocker, Dwight Langhoff. Mary Avanti is a write-in candidate.

Sacramento Municipal Utility District, Ward 2 (Galt) (one seat): Mark Bahouth, John Buhl, Nancy Bui.

Cosumnes Community Services District (Galt fire) (three seats): Sandi Russell, Guy Rutter, Douglas McElroy, Jimmie Johnson, Gil Albiani, Michelle Orrock, Rod Brewer.

Archoe Union School District (Herald) (two seats): W. Scott Smith, Nikki Stone, James Knezovich, Michele Neider.

Herald Fire Protection District (three seats): Dennis Johnson, Laurey Lorimer, Harry Aschwanden, Harry Campbell, Lance Newhall, Tyna O'Farrell.

    Go Michele Neider. She is a level-headed business woman and great with the kids. Lance Newhall and Dennis Johnson...they BOTH have done so much for the Herald community over the years they deserve a chance to be listened to.
