Between the hours of 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday, The Lodi Police Department received 524 calls for service. Below is a sample of those calls:


8:26 a.m. — Someone was reportedly carrying gloves and looking at houses in the 600 block of Daisy Avenue and Roper Avenue.

12:34 p.m. — A man was ramming his car into a wall in the backyard of 1200 block of South Stockton Street.

3:52 p.m. — A very agitated man was bleeding from his face and head in the 0 block of North School Street and West Elm Street.

6:19 p.m. — A large group was drinking and smoking marijuana in the 1100 block of West Turner Road.

6:24 p.m. — Someone reportedly gave unknown subjects $14,000 because she was told that’s what she needed to do to collect $33,000,000 in the 100 block of West Lodi Avenue. The unknown subjects stated they work for the lottery.


5:23 p.m. — Someone was concerned that their neighbor’s goat would cry all night in the 600 block of South Washington Street.

9:55 p.m. — People were screaming and three vehicles were racing in the 1900 block of Wyndham Way.


12:57 a.m. — A group of juveniles were carrying a large amount of eggs in the 300 block of South Orange Avenue.

8:34 a.m. — Two pit bulls were running into traffic in the 800 block of South Cherokee Lane.

12:43 p.m. — Someone at a spa found drugs in the 400 block of East Kettleman Lane.


6:54 a.m. — A garbage can was on fire by a tennis court in the 800 block of South Hutchins Street.
