Two major events will held late Monday morning — a memorial service for Galt Police Officer Kevin Tonn and Lodi's Martin Luther King observance.
At 11 a.m., a memorial service for Tonn will be held at Adventure Christian Church, 6401 Stanford Ranch Road, Roseville. The public is invited.
Tonn, 35, was shot to death shortly before noon on Tuesday near the Union Pacific Railroad tracks north of F Street. Humphrey Gascon II is suspected of shooting Tonn.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at East Lawn Memorial Park, 5757 Greenback Lane off Interstate 80, Sacramento.
After the service, a reception will be held at the Citrus Heights Community Center, 6300 Fountain Square Drive, Citrus Heights.
