A film about Delta water issues and the proposed Peripheral Canal that was scheduled to be shown Thursday night was postponed.
The film, “Over Troubled Waters,” was to be shown at Hutchins Street Square in Lodi. No new date has been set.
However, you can see the film next Monday and Oct. 7 in Stockton. Monday’s showing will be at the Campaign for Common Ground meeting, which will begin at 7 p.m. at the Family Resource & Referral Center, 509 W. Weber Ave., Stockton.
The Oct. 7 presentation will be at noon at the Steelhead Festival, University of the Pacific, Janet Leigh Theater.
The film is produced by a group called Restore the Delta, which includes farmers, fishermen and environmentalists who want to protect the Delta’s way of life, according to the organization’s website.
