The Lodi Flea Market has found enough success that it wants to expand. This weekend, the market will be open for a trial run on both Friday and Saturday. It will be in the same location, on Lockeford Street at the east field of the Lodi Grape Festival Grounds.
Starting in September, this schedule will become permanent. The market will take a week off to allow for the Grape Festival.
"We can be open for the people with more flexible schedules on Friday, then be open on Saturday for all those garage-salers," said Chris Hernandez, market coordinator.
The market runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
