Temperatures in Lodi are expected to drop as a cold front from the northwest blows cool air into the area.

Beginning Thursday, temperatures will drop to the mid-90s and will continue to get even lower throughout the weekend until they reach the midto upper-80s on Monday, according to Brian Edwards, a meteorologist for AccuWeather.com, a private forecasting service.

Despite the dramatic decrease in temperatures over the next week, Edwards said the change should not cause weather problems in terms of cloud cover or rain.

Temperatures will remain in the lowto mid-80s at least through next Thursday or Friday before there is a possible uptick in temperature.

“As long as we keep getting the cool air from up around British Columbia, my advice would be enjoy the cooldown during a time when normal temperatures are in the low 90s,” Edwards said.
