Local Boy Scouts will be picking up Christmas trees throughout Lodi today for the 27th year.
The troops will collect the trees starting at 9 a.m. Residents are asked to put trees on the curb and consider donating money to the boys when they knock on the door. The tree pickup is a major fundraiser for the Scouts.

Or until the fossil fuel used to make them runs out. Or the FAKE trees fall apart as they will. Trees are a renewable resource - no matter the bad name Ronald Reagan tried to give to trees.

Trees were ment to be in the forest, not chopped down and put in a house for a week or so. If you need a tree, make it plastic and it will last forever.[sad]
