Sacramento civil rights attorney Mark Merin said Monday that he would be more than happy to provide the Lodi Police Department with a list of eyewitnesses he interviewed following the Jan. 25 shooting death of Parminder Singh Shergill.

Merin, who is representing the Shergill family, said he has been trying to set up a meeting with Lodi Police Chief Mark Helms so he can personally deliver the list. However, he said, he had not yet received a response from the chief.
