Stockton and Lodi police are looking for a 32-year-old man missing from a Stockton mental health residence since Christmas Day.

Kenneth Allen may have been spotted in Lodi recently, according to a family member. Allen was raised in Lodi but has lived recently at a board and care home in Stockton.

When he left the Stockton home, Allen was wearing a black trench coat, black pants, white shirt and black boots. He carried a black backpack.

The family, who reports that Allen hadn’t been located by Sunday afternoon, hopes that if Allen is seen, the Lodi or Stockton police will be notified. A missing person report is filed with the Stockton Police, 209-937-8323. Lodi police may be contacted at 209-333-6727.

The family member said Allen needs regular medication but is not dangerous. Strangers willing to approach Allen may help by asking him to call his family who are worried and actively looking for him.

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
