Man arrested after footchase in Lodi

Updated

A Lodi man was arrested after a short foot chase on Saturday, said Sgt. Sierra Brucia of the Lodi Police Department.

At noon today, an officer recognized Sean Presler’s car in the 200 block of Adobe Ct. Presler had a warrant out for his arrest, so the officer approached the car and attempted to contact the driver. Prelser exited the car and ran off on foot down the railroad tracks behind Adobe Ct. With assistance from the Stockton Police Department, who was working with Lodi police on Saturday, officers caught up with and arrested Presler.

He is being held on charges of resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance.
