Man shot, killed in Thornton identified as Phillip Crow of Lodi

A man shot and killed in Thornton Monday has been identified.

Phillip Crow, 18, of Lodi died after he suffered a single shot to the head, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office.

Crow was fatally shot in the head on Stockton Street near Thornton Road at 4:38 p.m., according to San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office detective Dave Konecny.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Department does not yet know whether or not the shooting was gang-related. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is still ongoing, Konecny said.
