“Never doubt that a group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has,” Margaret Mead once noted. The Lodi District Chamber of Commerce celebrates this community spirit by honoring Lodi’s most valuable asset, its citizens, during the annual meeting and outstanding citizens awards dinner on Thursday at Wine and Roses Hotel and Restaurant.
Honorees include Deanna Enright Volunteer of the Year Paul Anderson; Agribusiness Person of the Year Bruce Fry; and Ray A. Hirning Street Faire Volunteers of the Year Tim and Sheri Aguilar. Darrell Drummond will be honored at the event as Citizen of the Year, and the evening will include special recognition of the 2013 Leadership Lodi class.
