The Central Galt Interchange project will be the largest and
most expensive project in the city’s history.
The city will build a new overpass connecting A Street across
Highway 99. Once that is complete, the city will demolish the
current C Street overpass and build a new bridge. The project is
scheduled to be completed in fall 2012 as long as there is not high
rainfall, Public Works Director Gregg Halladay said.
