I've heard about A Moveable Feast on the news and even passed by the visibly green food truck one day on my way back to work during my lunch hour. Being the food enthusiast that I am, I read the news article posted on this website to get more information (location, hours of operation, menu selection etc.). This news article mentioned the No. 11 fries and a few other popular items on the menu along with raving reviews about their dipping sauces. So, today my friends and I decided to find out for ourselves what all the commotion was about. First thing I noticed was the small menu selection, which was not a problem considering they all sounded delicious. The problem I had was the delay we encountered with taking our order and getting the food out to us. Had we known we could call in our order and it would take priority over all other orders, we would have called in.
As for food, the crab cake sandwich looked appetizing but I went with the Steak Sandwich instead. It came with grilled onions and bell peppers. The steak was peppery and juicy and the sandwich all together was almost worth the wait (almost). I also ordered the garlic fries (which I believe were a special for this day) and had the chipotle ketchup as a dipping sauce. The fries were "garlicky" as they should be, and the dipping sauce had an extra kick, which was a great compliment to the fries. The price was reasonable for a steak sandwich but the fries were a little over priced ($3.00 for a small order). Overall, it's not a bad place to go for lunch but plan to wait a while for your order.

Anyone know if they have their calorie count on the menu? For some reason I don't think there are very many nutritious things on there. Don't get me wrong, I fully recognize the value in a good fat-ladden triggered endorphin release that comes from eating junk. Just wondering if anyone knows just how many calories they are eating.

You know, since I am on the subject, Why can kids sub apples for their happy meals but adults can't?
