Two men believed to be in their 20s robbed Burger King employees of an undisclosed amount of cash shortly before midnight on Wednesday, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office.

The alleged incident took place at the Burger King at 18980 N. Highway 88, Lockeford.

Employees told deputies that the two men broke into a locked glass door, confronted both employees in the back office and demanded money, according to a sheriff's report.

Both men were described as about 6 feet tall and weighing 150 to 160 pounds. One, armed with a handgun, wore a black-hooded sweatshirt, had short blond hair and wore blue jeans and gloves, according to the report. The other suspect had medium-length blond hair and wore a blue bandana covering his face, according to the report.

Where I come from, robbers like this are dispatched to the great beyond with expediency and prejudice. I've looked down the barrel of a revolver twice in the 1980's, and I remember being angry at California's idiotic guns laws, and not at the robber. Punks like this need to be shot dead where they stand, period. Why do you people put up with this nonsense???

This is very serious matter. At least no-one injured. Wall Street debacle has hurt our economy. Look at how low interest rate is for IRA or CD !!

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
