The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:

Monday

Lodi Library Board of Trustees

Key items:

  • Approve and adopt the Lodi Public Library facilities naming policy.
  • Approve and adopt the Lodi Public Library customer service policy.
  • Receive update on phase III library renovation project.

When and where: 5:30 p.m., Lodi Public Library, 201 W. Locust St., Lodi.

Lodi Animal Advisory Commission

Key items:

  • Discuss letter to local wineries promoting barn cat program.
  • Elect new commission secretary and discuss community outreach tactics to increase adoptions.

When and where: 6 p.m., Lodi Police Department, 215 W. Elm St., Lodi.

Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission

Key item: Receive an update on One-Eighty Teen Center concert, Crush Dance, Teen Lead and Pigskin Dance details.

When and where: 7 p.m., Hutchins Street Square Cottage Room, 125 S. Hutchins St., Lodi.

Tuesday

Lodi City Council shirtsleeve

Key item: Update regarding general liability and workers’ compensation programs.

When and where: 7 a.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Galt Joint Union High School District board of trustees

Key items:

  • Take action on a graduation date change and projected costs for graduation.
  • Receive information and hold a discussion regarding the opportunity to refinance the district’s Measure B General Obligation Bonds at lower interest rates to save property taxpayers’ money.
  • Hear a report on the Race to the Top grant application to be filed jointly with the elementary district.
  • Discuss in closed session Superintendent Matthew Roberts’ evaluation.

When and where: 6:30 p.m., City Hall City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Lodi Improvement Committee

Key item: Discuss topics for upcoming meetings and receive reports from community development, the police department and Public Works.

When and where: 6 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Wednesday

Galt Parks and Recreation Commission

When and where: 7 p.m., City Hall City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Lodi Art Commission

Key item: Receive an update on the Art Advisory Board, Art Hop, the arts calendar and website, Lodi Arts Foundation report and speaking engagement sessions.

When and where: 1 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Planning Commission

Key items:

  • Request for a use permit for King Tsin to allow beer and wine sales at King Tsin restaurant at 1040 W. Kettleman Lane, Suite 1-A.
  • Request for a use permit for Scott Porter to sell beer and wine at 121 South School Street, Suite A.
  • Request for the commission to recommend to the Lodi City Council approval of the draft Lodi Land Use and Development Code, draft zoning map, and to certify a negative declaration.

Thursday

Galt Planning Commission

They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl.
