A Lodi man was arrested early Saturday after Lodi police officers found a loaded pistol in his car.

At approximately 1:46 a.m., Officer Kevin Brown was on patrol when he noticed that Juan Manuel Quevedo, 21, had hit a parked car with his vehicle, according to Lt. Fernando Martinez of the Lodi Police Department.

Upon inspection of Quevedo's car, Martinez said Brown found a loaded pistol lying on the vehicle's floor.

Brown also noticed that Quevedo appeared to be driving under the influence of alcohol, Martinez added.

Quevedo was arrested for public intoxication, carrying a concealed weapon in his vehicle and carrying a loaded firearm in a public place.

O my gosh, public intoxication, and carrying a concealed weapon in his vehicle... Can't imagine anything worse, well except for tasing, beating, and shooting people at the drop of a hat! Wonder who does those kind of things???????
