Thornton Municipal Advisory Council to discuss road repair, flashing lights

The Thornton Municipal Advisory Council will discuss improvements to the community and goals for 2013 during its meeting on Wednesday.

The MAC will discuss:

  • A request to resurface Thornton Road from the community’s library to the post office.
  • Discuss flashing lights in front of New Hope School on North Sacramento Boulevard.
  • Decide on a meeting schedule for the year.

The council is a group of Thornton residents who make recommendations to the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors. The meeting, open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. at the Thornton Community Service Center, 26775 N. Sacramento Blvd., Thornton.
