The Thornton Municipal Advisory Council will discuss improvements to the community and goals for 2013 during its meeting on Wednesday.
The MAC will discuss:
- A request to resurface Thornton Road from the community’s library to the post office.
- Discuss flashing lights in front of New Hope School on North Sacramento Boulevard.
- Decide on a meeting schedule for the year.
The council is a group of Thornton residents who make recommendations to the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors. The meeting, open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. at the Thornton Community Service Center, 26775 N. Sacramento Blvd., Thornton.
