Everybody in the Lockeford area knows how long it's taken to get something going
on that huge two story building on 88 in downtown Lockeford. The powers to be let that building stay boarded up for many many years all the while they complained they weren't getting enough tourist traffic in the area.

And the removal of the Kentucky House rail line(they talk about in this article) was an inept decision made. This line could have been transformed into a commuter rail line into the foothills. The foothill communities are going to continue to grow and what a relief it would be for so many of those residents if they had an option to take a train and hook up with another train or transfer to another form of mass transportation in Lodi, Stockton or thereabouts to get to their destination.

2022! The powers to be in charge of this bypass need to get their heads out of their arss
and get things going. I suggest they contact those here in Phoenix, AZ who were in charge of property aquisitions when they built Highway 51 through densley populated and old neighborhooods. I just don't see where such a short bypass around downtown Lockeford should take such an enormous time to materialize. This proposal has been in the planning stages for many many years. Somebody is dragging their arss on this project.
