New meetings set on San Joaquin County growth

San Joaquin County has added public community meetings in Lockeford and Acampo in April to find out how the county should grow between now and 2030.

Newly scheduled meetings are on April 13 in the Lockeford Elementary School multipurpose room, 19456 N. Tully Road; and on April 27 at the Houston School auditorium, 4600 E. Acampo Road, Acampo.

Previously scheduled meetings in northern San Joaquin County include:

Tuesday: Davis Elementary School multipurpose room, 5224 E. Morada Lane, Morada.

April 19: Lodi Grape Festival grounds, Jackson Hall, 413 E. Lockeford St., Lodi.

May 2: Lodi Elks Lodge, 19071 N. Lower Sacramento Road, Woodbridge.

May 3: Thornton Library, 26341 N. Thornton Road, Thornton.

All meetings will begin at 7 p.m. Hearings will also be held in April in Stockton, Manteca, Tracy, Escalon, Linden, Farmington and Ripon.
