Police said two men got into a fight at a Downtown Lodi bar after the San Francisco 49ers game and one of them pulled a knife on a bouncer Sunday night.
Officers responded to the Garry’s Lounge on School Street for a report of a fight with a weapon at 10:38 p.m. Sunday, Lodi Police Lt. Fernando Martinez said.
Michael Pruitt, 31, and Jack Meyers, 31, were in a fight when the bar’s bouncer tried to break it up, Martinez said.
Meyers then pulled out a knife and was “swinging the knife at the bouncer,” Martinez said. The bouncer was uninjured and managed to hold down Meyers until police arrived.
Pruitt and Meyers were arrested for public intoxication. Meyers also was arrested for assualt with a deadly weapon.
