The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:

Monday

Lodi Animal Advisory Commission

Key items:

  • Discuss a letter to local wineries promoting the barn cat program.
  • Work on community outreach tactics to increase adoptions.
  • Elect a new commission secretary.

When and where: 6 p.m., Lodi Police Department, Community Room, 215 W. Elm St., Lodi.

Lodi Public Library Board of Trustees

Key items:

  • Approve and adopt a Lodi Library Customer Service Policy.
  • Discuss an interim library administrative oversight and process for Library Services Director recruitment.
  • Consider a four-year renewal of the contract for an integrated library system with Sirsi by the Stockton San Joaquin County Public Library System.
  • Adopt a holiday closing schedule for January through June 2013.

When and where: 5:30 p.m. Lodi Public Library, 201 W. Locust St., Lodi.

Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

Tuesday

Lodi City Council shirtsleeves

Key item: Receive an update on the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department.

When and where: 7 a.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Improvement Committee

Key items:

  • Receive an update on the youth outreach officers hired through the California Gang Reduction, Intervention and Prevention grant.
  • Receive reports on community development, the police department and Public Works.

When and where: 6 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Morada Municipal Advisory Council

Key items:

  • Any new correspondence or matters the MAC had not received this week.
  • Organizational matters.

When and where: 7 p.m., Waterloo-Morada fire station, 6925 E. Foppiano Lane at Ashley Lane, Morada.

Lodi Unified School District Board of Trustees

Key items:

  • Consider a proposal to allow high school athletics to count for PE credits.
  • Report on the election’s effect on the district.
  • Recognize Michael Abdallah for service to the board.

When and where: 7 p.m., James Areida Education Support Center, 1305 East Vine St., Lodi.

Galt Joint Union High School District Board of Trustees

When and where: 6:30 p.m., City Hall City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

Wednesday

Galt Parks and Recreation Commission

When and where: 7 p.m., City Hall City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Lodi Arts Commission

Key items:

  • Vote on the commission logo and the 2013 Art Hop sign-ups.
  • Discuss a date for the 2013 Taco Truck cook-off.
  • Discuss the Art Advisory Board, Art Hop, arts calendar and website, Lodi Arts Foundation report, speaking engagement updates and results of the LAC survey.
