Resident Reuven Epstein is asking the City of Galt to sign a document to allow he and his wife to sell property in good faith with a promise its planners will not use eminent domain to purchase it from the next owner for a planned entertainment complex.
“If the city is not going to buy it, I need to sell it. This has been going on for three years,” he said at the March 4 city council meeting.
