The Superior Court of California, Sacramento County, is seeking comments on proposed fee changes.
Effective Oct. 1, the court will begin charging public entities the statutory fee rate of 50 cents per page for regular and certified copies in criminal, traffic, and juvenile delinquency cases. This includes state and local government entities within California, the State Bar, the federal government, and local and state entities outside of California.
Furthermore, local and state entities outside of California will be charged for regular and certified copies in non-criminal cases. That fee will be $25.
To comment on these fee changes, mail the Court Executive Office at 720 Ninth St., Sacramento, CA 95814 or email them at email@example.com.
Comments must be received by noon Sept. 30 in order to be considered.
