Petie is a nearly 3-year-old Jack Russell terrier mix. He could be part beagle. Petie is neutered, his vaccinations are current and he has a microchip. His original family took a new job and had to move. They were unable to take him, so he is looking for a new forever home.
Petie is a little shy at first, especially with men, but warms up to women quickly. Once he is comfortable, he will jump up in your lap to give you kisses. He loves to go walking with the Walk ‘N’ Wag group and rides well in the cars. Petie is great with other dogs, and is playful, loving and affectionate. He loves attention and is house-trained. He should have a canine companion in his new home if you work. A calmer home with a person at home much of the time would be best suited for him.
Petie will play fetch and will return the ball if he decides to. He sleeps inside the house with his family, and doesn’t like spending much time outside alone. He gets along well with kids, but is best with older kids.
Petie is being offered for adoption through Animal Friends Connection, a Lodi nonprofit organization dedicated to helping companion animals since 1990. For more information about Petie, call or 209-365-0535.
