Ground spraying to kill adult mosquitos will be held in Stockton, including the University of the Pacific campus, from 3:30 to 6 a.m. either Friday or Saturday, according to the San Joaquin County Mosquito & Vector Control District.

Spraying had been limited to the Delta, Manteca and Ripon areas until recently. Now, spraying will be conducted between Bear Creek and Morada Lane from Davis Road to the Union Pacific Railroad tracks.

Spraying is also planned from the Calaveras River south to Harding Way between Pershing and Pacific avenues.
