A group of pricey Lamborghini cars — plus a fancy boat — found their way to Woodbridge's business district on Sunday as their owners showed off their vehicles and enjoyed some wine and a lunch at Woodbridge Crossing.
The excursion was organized by Judy and Todd Lindenmuth, along with Jeff Gregory, who own Exotic Motorsports Racing in Elk Grove.
They enjoy driving their cars to small towns like Woodbridge, and they happen to have a friend, Joe Dexter of Loco Lobo Winery, whose wines are served at Uncorked on Lower Sacramento Road.
"You don't race these cars every day," Gregory said. "It's like a fine wine."
Lamborghini owners gathered in Woodbridge on Sunday from places like Rancho Murieta, Rocklin, Placerville and the Bay Area to share stories about their cars and races.
"I think they're great," said Don Smith, of Woodbridge, whose brother, Jeff, is a member of a Sacramento Lamborghini club. "They're beautiful cars. It brings back the memories of college."
There were 10 cars and a bright Halloween-orange Lamborghini boat. Gregory crashed a similar-looking boat in a lake in Bakersfield while going 210 mph. The boat disintegrated, but Gregory said he wasn't injured.
Called a "Top Alcohol Flat Bottom," Todd Lindenmuth said that the Lamborghini boat is one of the two fastest in the world.
Lamborghini cars sell for $250,000 and up, while some can cost as much as $1 million, Judy Lindenmuth said.
