Job fair next week in Stockton

Local employers who are currently hiring will be available during next Tuesday’s employment resource and hiring fair in Stockton.

Other services at the fair will include hands-on resume assistance and printing, retraining, apprenticeship opportunities, one-on-one interview coaching and a veterans’ employment resource center.

The fair will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Spanos Center on the University of the Pacific campus, 3601 Pacific Ave., Stockton. Veterans will be admitted at 9:30 a.m. and non-veterans at 10 a.m.

The job fair is sponsored by the California Economic Development Department, San Joaquin County WorkNet and Rep. Jerry McNerney, D-Stockton.

For more information, call McNerney’s office at 209-476-8552. Auxiliary aids are available to individuals with disabilities. Requests for services, aids, or alternate formats can be made in advance by calling 209-948-7673.
