Registrar's Office certifies Sacramento County Board of Education results

Under election results certified Friday, John C. Scribner will continue to represent Area 6 on the Sacramento County Board of Education.

In addition to Galt, he represents the communities of Clarksburg, Clay, Collierville, Courtland, Elk Grove, Florin, Franklin, Herald, Hood, Isleton, Laguna Creek, Locke, Rio Vista, Ryde, Sheldon, Thornton, Walnut Grove, Wilton and a small portion of Valley Hi.

This trustee area also represents a major portion of the Elk Grove Unified School District and all of Arcohe Union, Galt Joint Union, Galt Joint Union High, and the River Delta Unified school districts.

Scribnner's term expires in June 2016. New Board officers will be elected at the July 17 meeting of the Sacramento County Board of Education.
