Changing Faces Theater Company is presenting “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” this weekend at Jessie’s Grove Winery. More than 60 children, teens and adults from Lodi and surrounding communities are participating in Changing Faces’ 12th production.
The classic play was written by William Shakespeare and is directed by Mike Bartram and Sabrina Willis Bartram. However, this version of “Midsummer” takes a twist and is set in 1978 on a cruise ship named the Athenian Princess, as well as a Tahitian island. Bartram says the show includes gorgeous costumes, an impressive set, great ‘70s tunes and a pre-show marketplace.
In addition to the performance, the purchase of one ticket includes an Italian dinner catered by Wholey Ravioli and wine tasting. Show dates are July 18, 19 and 20. Tickets for dinner and shows are $40.
Jessie’s Grove Winery is located at 1973 W. Turner Road in Lodi. The box office can be reached at 209-327-2754. For more information, call Mike Bartram at 209-747-8043 or visit the Changing Faces Theater Company website.
