Galt's A Street is now open to limited two-way traffic on the west side of Highway 99 as part of the multimillion-dollar Central Galt Interchange project.
Although a ribbon-cutting was held earlier this month, work is still being completed on the project.
As conflicting work efforts and striping are completed, additional segments of the interchange will be opened to traffic in the days ahead, according to Public Works Director Steven Winkler.
Full opening of all ramps and turn lanes will occur once the signal lights have power. That could happen by the end of next week, Winkler said.
